Next month, French luxury brand Hermes and Japanese brand COMME des GARCONS partnered up to present the "Comme des Carres" capsule scarf collection. The 175 year old French luxury brand will release 6 scarves reworked by Rei Kawakubo in a limited edition of 200 of each design.
The capsule will feature typical COMME des GARCONS elements, such as dots, check patterns and patchwork patterns that meet designs from the Hermes archive.
“The first scarves are laced with typically Comme des Garçons elements such as Kawakubo’s iconic polka dots, nylon gingham, heavy black lines and personal motto, live free with strong will, married with traditional Hermès prints such as Thalassa and Pegasus.”
